Hello everyone, after having to suspend the raids for a while due to losing people to aoc, guild lockouts and other issuse's were going to try to get some XIR raids going again.

We have selected thuesday for it and posibly thusday's in the future

We have had some really good raids the past 2 weeks, we killed vahsren the last weeks raid. we've also been killing jagund for 3 weeks now. dropped his tunic too last raid!

ive been having a lot of fun last weeks hope u all did too! We will be spending a little bit more time in the cartheon wing and on the overland raids coming weeks. lot of guilds like to rush trought the entrance wing every week like mine, so all locked out there.

here are some nice screens for killed mobs from last week!

We are curently expiriencing some problems with people not canceling thier signups when they cant make the raid. I would to point our u can cancel ur own subscription on the side with the code send in the mail. if u have problems with that drop me an ingame mail on alimora. from now on there will be a -4 dkp not showing on being more than an hour late.

Some better news now! well done on The wavebreaker everyone! was a very nice fight and we kick his ass!
we will kill him again thursday i hope.

We are from now on forming the raid up 20 mins before the raid start time. we want to be ready to engage at listed riad start time so all please log in 15-10 mins before. if u will be a lil late please put it in the comment field so we know it too.

BTW wer are looking for a disciple to raid with us!

At the end of this week the rest of the world will adjust to the daylight savings time. (crazy americans did it 2 weeks ago ) gave us some problems 2 weeks ago

Raid on friday starts at 2100 GMT / 1400 pst

Raid on saturday starts at 2100 GMT / 1400 pst

Raid on sunday starts at 2100 GMT / 1300 pst

We took down travix again on the second try (5% left on the first try! still cant belieave that went so well untill last 10%) Second try was very smooth :)

Vicus prooved to be a bit harder, we are going to adjust the tactic and try again next week!

I enjoyed the raid hope everyone else did too.

We will be making some chances on how we give people DKP points.
- DKP points will be rewared to members after the raid is completed or leave the raid. We understand that this means that your first raid with us will be loot free but it is the only way for us to make 100% that all DKP amounts are correct.

- If you are the only class that can use /want a item and you are on your first raid or do not have enough DKP atm but will have enough at the end of raid. you will be allowed to have a negative DKP.

Our second raid was a great succes we had more then enough people to create 3 full raid groups and a little bit of replacements in group 4.

We killed a few minibosses and Travix. We attempted General Vicus two times gt him down to around 25% when his barrier started killing people we will do it a little bit diffrent next time and then he is ours!

We where a little low on signups so we did not expect to make it in far but all turned out well. We killed Akym the Assasin and later took down X-77 (with 2 groups and 1 tank) No bad at all guys!

Ofcourse we got a fair amount of loot :)

XIR Takes Down X77 - 03-07-2008

XIR (Xeth Independent Raiders) is a initiative from raiders from Xeth. We offer raids for small guilds/groups of friends or just individuals who want to go into APW but don’t have the amount of players to organize a raid on their own. 

Ofcourse regular raiders are more then welcome to join us also. We hope to provide a solid raiding experience for everybody that wants one. If you want to join one of our raids please make sure you meet the following requirements:
- you need to signup for the raid on our website
- have Ventrillo (microphone not necessary, as long as you can listen in).
- Your must be keyed for APW
- Not be on any lockout timers for the bosses we plan to kill.
